Reinstall Windows 7

  • Make sure your Windows installation disc or USB drive is inserted into your computer.

  • During the process the computer may restart at least once.

Reinstall Windows 8 & 10

  • Make sure your Windows 8 or Windows 10 installation disc or USB drive being inserted into your computer.
  • Navigate the mouse arrow toward the start menu and select restart to restart your system.
  • The time you see the computer is booting, you’ll be told to hit any key so that it can boot from the disk drive.  Press any key. The installation files will start to load.
  • Select Language and Time as per your preference.
  • Now press ‘Next’ and Install now.
  • Enter your 25 digits of product key. It should be attached with the confirmation mail and disc cover. Otherwise it should be located on a sticker that is attached on your computer.
  • Now click on the license agreement on the box and select next.

Reinstall MacOS

  • To reinstall mac OS, use macOS recovery. First, make sure the Mac is connected to the internet.
  • From macOS recovery, select reinstall macOS and continue.
  • From the on screen menu bar choose Reinstall macOS Monterey.
  • The installer will ask you to unlock the disk, enter a password to log into your Apple computer.
  • Erase the disk if the installer can’t install it on your computer.
  • Choose Macintosh HD between the two options of Macintosh HD and Macintosh HD- Data given by the installer.
  • Don’t let your sleep or close its lid while allowing the installation to complete its process.
  • After the installation process is completed. The mac tends to restart with a setup assistant. If you want to give away or sell your Mac then press Command-Q to eliminate the assistant and don’t complete the setup.
  • Click shut down.
